Routine: A Regular Course of Procedure

I do want to point out, friends, that time is of the essence. There is no time to waste, so don’t complicate your lives unnecessarily. Keep it simple—in marriage, grief, joy, whatever. Even in ordinary things—your daily routines of shopping, and so on. Deal as sparingly as possible with the things the world thrusts on you. This world as you see it is on its way out. (1 Corinthians 7:29-31 The Message)

Well, it’s Thursday already.

On Sunday, I announced my NEW blog routine.

Ha! I didn’t get very far, which is apparently ok. I was telling my husband about it this morning, and he said, I thought people used blogs to post whenever they had something to share. Oh! I replied, I made up this schedule so I’d keep posting.

Ah, the wisdom of Les(s) is more! So my newly outlined blog procedure is going out the window, so I can freely post whenever the wind of the Holy Spirit blows my way. You may still get posts about roots, art inspiration, thrilling guests and even tips about journaling. And I will definitely be linking up with Dawn and the RJD friends on the first Friday of the month.

For today, I am offering up some art links . . . new art journaling artists that I found very inspiring and a link back to my artsy post over at souldare.

My art musings this week were inspired by Christine Hiester at bare branch blooming. She has an e-book coming out on August 11th!

And I think I’ve found some new journaling inspiration+art with Nichole Rae. Check out her book and her writings (blog posts).

Keep life simple, enjoy the process and trust God.

Getting back to my roots and routine mantras.

Until next time, when I have something more to blog about.

    1. Thanks Jody! I found the template for free on wordpress.com…I really like it. The font is a little small for reading, I will have to do some research to see if I can change that…I prefer free, so my options are limited 🙂

I love a dialogue. Be the first to start a discussion!
