Give Good

My series of crazy ideas may be over, but I haven’t run out of ideas, crazy or otherwise. One of my crazy ideas over the years has been to live generously. So as announced, I am giving away a few of my last remaining “vintage” copies of my little book.

Drum roll please . . . I have decided that instead of a random drawing, I would like each of the lovely ladies who left a comment on my last blog post to have a copy. That means Dawn, Juanita, Julia and Sylvia…you win! Send me an email at kelrohlf@souldare.com, so I can get the little book into the mail for you!!!

I am so excited this season, as I get ready to launch my little book on createspace.com. I still have to proof it, then I’ll be letting the world know how to get the second edition. In the meantime, I wanted to tell you about a couple online friends, who have embraced their dream, and have self-published books that will be perfect for the holiday season.

Jody Lee Collins, brings us freedom, peace and joy . . . without all the trimmings in her practical and delightful book . . . #LivingtheSeasonWell

“Start small. Start now.” Jody’s resounding call to slow down, count the costs, and savor the Savior warmed my heart, and kindled my desire to observe the traditional church calendar through Advent, Christmas and Epiphany.

Another sweet little book, written by Cecelia Lester, became available earlier this year, and I ordered two copies. So guess what, another giveaway!!! I will be sharing her book in a random drawing next week for anyone who leaves a comment below. Her book covers various topics to ponder how difficulties can “bring rays of joy” into your life. Easy to read, short musings with questions and a space to respond with your pen.

I look forward to hearing what good things are going on with you this season. What does it mean to you to give good?
