 . . . ever follow that which is good . . .” (1 Thessalonians 5:15 KJV)

It was such a joy to see so many join the dialogue about hope, ART, and our relationship with GOD with regard to our creative pursuits. Many thanks to Lynn for offering words to chew on, thoughts to mull over and meaningful questions to ponder. Her collage has many depths, and I encourage you to sit with it and see all the various symbols and ways it can speak to our hearts about being rooted in LOVE.

The GOD+ART series brought me closer to the heart of our Creator GOD. Through Brother Lawrence’s words and insights on practicing God’s presence continually, my love for God was rekindled.

Now to announce the winner. Drum roll, please.

  1. This is beautiful! And I really enjoy reading your process posts. I’m pondering the ways that some but not all of the images that you paste down make it through to the final image, and yet they are still there, part of the art deep down!

  2. Victoria- great pondering…in my art classes I teach that very thing…that although we can’t see the initial layers they still impact our art process and the final outcome…just like our experiences and choices inform our lives

  3. Jillie, congratulations upon being the “winner” of Kel’s beautiful collage and the life-chaning book by Brother Lawrence. I know both will greatly encourage you in your walk with the Lord,

And congratulations to Kel on having the obedience and tenacity to do a double-disclipline, of both writing *and* collage. Wow! I don’t know of any other 31-Day-er who did TWO things! These was a gorgeous and grace-filled series, and Kel, I benefitted spiritually soooooooooo much!

Acutally, I think anyone reading this was a big winner!

    Love
    Lynni
